My name is Kimberly Damron and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida. I have worked with individuals and families for over 13 years in various capacities and settings. I believe in providing a comfortable and supportive environment in which you can feel safe exploring beliefs, thought patterns, feelings and challenges. Through a strong therapeutic relationship based on respect and unconditional positive regard, we will work together to resolve emotional conflicts and to develop the goals you believe will be helpful in creating the life you desire. I also believe that each individual needs their own unique approach. I use skills, training and personal creativity to blend different elements of various therapies into an integrative approach. My hope is that we can find the approach that will best empower you to make the positive changes you desire for your life. Developing your goals for therapy are paramount in the first session. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to do a free initial 15 minute phone consult to determine if I am the right person to accompany you on your journey to wellness. If so, we will get you set up with a secure client portal from which you will receive electronic paperwork and secure messages to start the process of therapy.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Masters Degree in Counseling and Human Systems from Florida State University and I am licensed in the state of Florida as a Mental Health Counselor.
