What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Initial session is primarily information gathering and gaining insight into why client is seeking therapy at this time and what their goals are. I also give them a brief introduction of myself, my practice and my therapeutic approach. I utilize the initial sessions to build rapport and trust with clients. I empower the client to be proactive & ask questions if they have never been in therapy before and if they have been in previous therapy, discovering what approaches worked best for them.
I emphasize that they guide their recovery process and I'm here to help steer them in the direction they want to go with ultimate goal being healing and restoration
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a MS degree in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling with completion of Mental Health Counseling Core programming.
I am licensed and can practice in 2 states, Florida and Louisiana ( reciprocity)
I hold LMHC, LPC, ( both Mental health therapy) LAC, LCAP, SAP, ( all 3 substance abuse therapy and evaluation/assessment), NCPC ( Parent Coordinator), NCCE ( Custody Evaluator), NCDS ( Divorce Specialist), CRC ( Rehabilitation Counselor), NCC ( National Certified Counselor)

I accept most insurances and work with cash clients also.
My cash rates are: $150.00 Initial Session
$100.00 regular sessions
Sliding scale ( each case is examined)
$120.00 Initial and $95.00 for couples/family and $80.00 per individual
I accept cash, check or Zelle
How did you get started in this business?
Since an early age, I've always had a passion and heart for helping people. I had no idea I would have had such a wonderfully diverse background of experiences which allowed me to help at so many different levels.
