About
I became a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in 1992 in Florida and have had a very broad experience in the field. My last position from which I retired was Hospice. I worked as a Bereavement Counselor for 12 years. Prior to that, I taught at University, worked with additions, concentrated on couples and family counseling and with with children in school. I have published several books about grief and was my favorite part of being a counselor. Working for Hospice families who had lost loved ones was very rewarding for unlike the Hospice patients, I got to companion their family through the grief journey and was lucky to see hundreds of people move forward in their life after the death of their loved ones. I am part time now in my wisdom years, love to travel, take people on Sacred Journey's and have a beautiful retreat center on the Intercoastal waterway where I work with groups or individual on their personal journey to health and wellness. I call myself a transpersonal life coach as I take into consideration the infinite reality of our existence. In these times with so many dying of Covid, I have chosen to re-enter the field to help the grieving.
