Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first session is an intake session and a get to know you session where we can connect and begin the process of building that theraupetic relationship and discuss your goals. From there we will work on a plan on how to achieve those goals and following session will be used to work toward those goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from the University of Central Florida in Orlando with my Bachelors in Psychology. I then got my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with Specialization in Art Therapy from Lesely University in Boston.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
My standard session rate is $145
How did you get started in this business?
I've always loved helping people, but I didn't know I wanted to be a counselor till I took a Psychology class in college and fell in love with counseling.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have experience working with individuals that struggle with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, self-harm, eating disorders, identity, and life transitions. I mostly work with teenagers, young adults, and adults.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
I like to think of finding the right counselor as finding shoes that fit just right. Just because a counselor isn't the right fit for doesn't mean they are a bad counselor, they just aren't the right fit for you. So do your research and try and find someone who you feel like you can connect with.
