I am an innovator for healing arts, with 20 years of experience. I have worked in hospitals, clinics, behavioral health centers, schools and elder care facilities. I graduated in 2007 as a Certified Music Practitioner - Therapeutic musician. I have a B.A. degree in Education and facilitate chromo/color therapy, teach brain gym movements and give live therapeutic music sessions. These therapeutic tools benefit people of all ages and stages. I teach people how to use these arts for holistic wellness. This is a service not a performance. I help people to reverse the classic stress response, equalize brain waves and learn to relax. I have worked with many types of people from young Autistic children, Psychiatric at risk youth, birthing mothers, to those with Dementia brains and stressed executives. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to find out what the person's daily habits are, if they meet with any supportive group and what their diet is like. I would want to know how much exposure to electronic media they have and if they sleep well at night. I would have these questions on a form for them to answer. I would determine the color and sounds, key notes of music to use for the individual. I will discern which instruments to play for the session and proceed.
