What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
A positive therapeutic relationship is one of the most important aspect of therapy. So do your research and ask questions to see if you are compatible with the therapist. Make sure you research how the therapist offers services and they are quoted at a fair price marketing. Discuss payment option and sliding scales at the initial consultation or intake. Make sure you explore therapists who are culturally knowledgable and also knowledgablel in the service that you will need.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
1. What services does the therapist offers?
2. What are the therapist's working hours?
3. Does the therapist have any specializations?
4. What learning approach does the therapist utilize?
5. How far is the therapist willing to travel if in-home needs are acceptable.
6. If involved in any Court related issues, will the therapist attend Court with you.
