About
My name is Cora and my main goal is to bring hope and healing for many of the issues in life, both current and past, that keep individuals from becoming the persons they want to be. Some of those issues may be depression, relationships, marriage, divorce, anxiety, stress, trauma, and Long-Covid. My passion is healing. My goal is to help you develop better coping skills for dealing with whatever circumstances have gotten you stuck and unable to move forward in your life and relationships.
Using the skills I acquired through postgraduate training in psychology, education, and spiritual studies, it is my goal to promote healing and recovery in a professional and caring atmosphere. I am a Board Certified Professional Christian Counselor, member of American Association of Christian Counselors and a Certified Christian Life Coach.
English is my first language, but having lived in both Mexico and Chile for six years, I am bilingual in English and Spanish and consider myself bicultural. I supervised a team of therapists in New York as a responder to the World Trade Center disaster on 9-11-01. First Responders have a unique type and level of stressors with which they deal everyday and I know it well.
