Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
At the initial appointment, basic information is gathered and, as we get to know each other, a tentative agreement is made regarding the goals of treatment, as well as the frequency and content of future counseling sessions. It should be understood that as the counseling progresses, nerw areas may present themselves to be explored and goals may be redirected.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a Master of Social Work degree awarded by the University of Central Florida; and am a Certified Addiction Professional by the State of Florida Certification Board. I have worked with the Brevard Alzheimers Foundation as a trainer for Professional Caregivers, as well as Family Caregivers.
