My goal as a therapist is to help you create more freedom in your life. The way I do that is to help identify the barriers to you living a life in accordance with your values. My therapeutic approach is client-centered, which means that I recognize that you are the expert of your life and it is my job to help you realize your power. I have training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which is a tool I use to help you identify and challenge the distortions in your thinking that are causing emotional distress in your life.
I love connecting with people on a deep level. I see my work as a gift and am humbled by the opportunity I have to bear witness to some of the lowest and highest parts of the human condition. In my experience the therapeutic relationship is an opportunity to help my clients experience the power of vulnerability and the healing that creates.
