About
Therapy, like life, is a journey. With each step we learn something new. I have been working with individuals, couples and families for 37 years.
As an interpersonal, interactive, solution-oriented therapist and clinical hypnotherapist, I focus on helping people get what they want, and understand what's in the way of getting what they want.
I enjoy helping people to manage or overcome their struggles with anxiety and stress; to resolve conflicts and communication struggles; and to enhance their performance in sports, school and business.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I invite them in for an initial consultation so that we can discuss their concerns, explore roadblocks that can lead to "stuckness" and then together, create a plan to move forward - create solutions.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Florida state Licensed Mental Health Counselor (1991) and Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist (1994). I have been in practice 37 years, both in the states of New York and Florida. I have a Masters of Arts degree in Applied Psychology from Long Island University in New York (1981) and an on line Doctorate in Behavioral Science and Clinical Hypnotherapy from Alpha University in Louisana (2013).
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Individual or couples counseling sessions are 50 minutes in duration. My fees range from $125 to $175 per session.
A 50 minute hypnotherapy session typically costs $160 per session. I do offer a 3 session hypnosis package at a reduced rate of $450.
Group sessions can range in price from $30 to $65 per person, per session.
How did you get started in this business?
I discovered that I had an ability to connect with people, by listening to and acknowledging their concerns, thereby aligning myself with them, and helping them to create change.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with individuals, couples, families and groups ranging in age from adolescence into their 70's and 80's.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
My wife and I recently relocated from southeast to northeast Florida to be closer to our three daughters.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
It's all about communication and connection in finding "the right fit." Ask questions, seek out someone who is responsive to your concerns. "People don't care what you know, until they know that you care."
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Am I willing to make changes, do something different in order to accomplish my goals?
