I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor looking to help children and their families navigate through difficult and traumatic life events. I have extensive experience working with the population of adolescents and their families who have difficulties with co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders. My approach to the therapeutic process if direct and transparent while offering curiosity and compassion to my clients and their families. I graduated with my Masters Degree from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology with an intensive focus on Forensic Psychology - this has help cultivate my expertise in trauma-informed care for adolescents and their families. My background in the field includes working in the incarceration system, elementary schools and residential treatment centers. Additionally, I have received training in being a Recovery Coach and have specific training in working with individuals who struggle with addiction.
