Welcome to A Path to Change Counseling, located minutes from the Citrus Tower in Clermont Florida. I provide services for teenagers and adults, and am an approved mental health provider for the Lake County School System. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Certified Addictions Professional, and EMDR trained therapist, my goal is to create a tailored treatment plan to assist you with your personal and mental health goals.
I am an EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) therapist. EMDR is used to treat Anxiety, panic attacks, and phobias • Chronic illness and medical issues • Depression and bipolar disorders • Eating Disorders • Grief and Loss • Pain • Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and other stress-related disorders.

How did you get started in this business?
I followed my passion from my teen years to find a career where I am able to assist other's in achieving their emotional and life goals.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I began my career working in a veterans program and had the pleasure of assisting those who served our country. Next, spend several years working a residential treatment program working with teenagers with a focus on mental health and substance abuse.
I also spent five years working in a group practice working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. For the past three years I have combined my experience in my own practice serving those in the State of Florida.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
There are so many rewarding stories of client growth, it would be too hard to describe. I am fond of my recent purchase of a young puppy who is training to be a therapy dog who will work with me assisting clients.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
There are many therapists to choose from and my mission is first to establish rapport with my client's. It is very difficult for someone to walk in and tell a stranger there deepest feeling and fears.
While I have strong clinical training, I pride myself on learning about the client through their eyes and their view of the world.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
It is important to identify the counselor you select meet your needs. We are here for the client.
