We are passionate about improving your quality of life. We are all trained and licensed Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners. This means, not only acupuncture, but also herbal medicine, cupping, moxibustion, electro-acupuncture, gua sha and more. We have many tools at our disposal. We are trained to read your body's signs in order to re-train your body for optimal flow and self-healing.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
You will recieve email forms to fill out before coming in. You can also arrive early and fill them out in house. We maintain minimal to zero wait times. Your practitioner will greet you and take you back to your room. We will conduct an inital consultation, take your pulse and look at your tongue. Then you will recieve a full hour of treatment. This could consist of just acupuncture or other additional modalities as your practitioner sees fit.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All practitioners, here at Pulse, have a 4-year Master's Degree in Acupuncture and Eastern Medicine. We all sat for our board exams and became licensed by the state of Maryland. We are all Acupuncturists and herbalists. Our practitioners have been practicing from 10-4 years, depending on who you see.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Private acupuncture: $120 Initial, $90 Return (We do accept insurnce for this service. If you do have coverage, the price would likely just be a copay)
Community acupuncture: $25-$45 sliding scale, whatever you'd like to pay in that range. +$10 for the initial visit.
Cupping (standalone, without acupuncture): $45
Herbal Medicine (standalone, without acupuncture): $45 initial, $15 return + $25 for one week supply of herbs
Massage: $95 for 60 minutes
Craniosacral Therapy: $45
What types of customers have you worked with?
All types. Chinese medicine helps us read the whole body and treat from the root. So, specialization isn't necessary. We see everything from arthritis, herniated discs, torn rotator cuffs, breaks, sprains and sciatica to insomnia, digestive issues, infertility, anxiety, stress and depression. This is not a complete list by any means. We see patients from the age of 12 and up. We are LGBTQ friendly and try hard to maintain a safe space for our patients.
