Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Whenever I have a new client, I listen closely to how they describe their problem. I often find that there are several reasons fir the problem to explore and I don't want to miss anything.
I may make some suggestions as we go along, but I'm really interested in understanding how the client perceives their issue first. Then together we strategize how to tackle the concern(s).
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received my MSW from the Wurzweiler School of Social Work at Yeshiva University in NY. In addition I received my BS in Religious Studies from Barnard College, Columbia University. I also studied at Union Theological Seminary also at Columbia University. I have a Post Masters Certificate in Adoption.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Most of my clients have insurance but for those that don't, I have a set fee of $120 per session. I am willing to consider sliding scale in some cases.
