Tanya Ward is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Masters of Science Degree from Vanguard University and is trained in EMDR through the EMDR Institute.
She works with clients on a variety of issues including Trauma, Parent/Child Relationships; Pastors and Pastors' wives; Self-identity; Creating Healthy Boundaries; Anxiety & Depression . Tanya also works with couples going through infertility, miscarriage or traumatic birth experiences. Beginning to try to expand your family is anxiety provoking for many. Experiencing miscarriage, infertility, birth trauma or difficulties postpartum can make that journey scary and painful. For many it is a silent struggle and having a safe place to navigate these complex emotions is something she strives to provide.
She is EMDR trained to work with trauma and is a certified Prepare/Enrich Counselor for premarital therapy.Tanya offers short-term and long-term therapy for children, adolescents, couples, families and adult individuals. She is passionate about working with children, adolescents and their parents in helping them navigate the difficult developmental stages and transitions and help create a healthy attachment in the process.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Initially clients will begin their first session with an intake. This is where I gather all of their information as it relates to the presenting issue that brough them into therapy, their history and any other pertinent information. We discuss what they are struggling with and how to best approach this in therapy!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology and have been practicing for 7 years. I am also EMDR Trained to work with clients who have experienced trauma and have years of experience working with children, teens and families!
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
My fee ranges from $120-$150. I do not accept insurance but do provide a Super Bill for clients to seek reimbursement through their provider. We accept all major credit cards and Flaxible Spending cards as well.
