What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Call or email me and let's set up a free consultation. I welcome anyone looking into getting support to consult with me. I'll answer any questions and give you honest feedback, support, and guidance to make this a helpful process from day 1.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated with my MA in Marriage and Family Therapy from Hope International University in 2019.
While I work from an attachment lens and Emotionally focused therapy I have extensive training to make sure I can provide you with the best help possible including:
For anxiety and depression, I offer a lifetime of personal experience as well as someone you can be yourself around.
For trauma, I offer EMDR; a great therapy that often sees results in a surprisingly short amount of sessions.
For couples and relationships, I am trained in Imago as well as the Gottman method; two GREAT ways to help you see your love life differently.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
My standard fee is $150 per session. I do offer a sliding scale for certain situations and that is something we can discuss if needed.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I work with everyone from the individual to the whole family. Couples, teens, adults; all are welcomed.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Pick someone you can be yourself around. All the skills in the world won't matter if you're not comfortable. So call, ask questions, and find someone who you feel sees you for you.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
What's going on? When did it start? Where do you want to be? These questions can be really tough to think of when you're going through a hard time. But trying to answer them will really help you see if a particular therapist is a good fit for you. And if you can't answer those questions, then look for someone who is willing to help you to.
