What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
To welcome a new client to the practice the process starts with a phone interview to get a feel for each other and to understand the process and get an idea about the journey.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My experience actually started on the medical side of the equation.. I worked as a critical RN for over 30 years before going back to school and completing the Academical training through the Doctorial level in Psychology and clinical practice. I am licensed as an RN and as a Professional Clinical Counselor with advanced training. I have been in private practice for 6 years.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I will bill out-of-network as a Courtesy to my clients. I charge 110 a session which I have never raised my rates in 6 years.
How did you get started in this business?
I started by helping as an RN with families and adolescents in abusive situations. I worked to help stabilize the kids and the home lives of these families.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I deal mostly with relational and emotive situations and challenges.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Find a person you can connect with and you feel seen/heard and have a feeling of safety.
