Wolf Holistic Psychotherapy
About
I have a passion for my career and it shows! I love providing therapy for children, adolescents and families as well as marriage/relationship counseling and LGBTAI+ Identity affirming 🏳️🌈 therapy. I provide culturally competent & social justice informed therapy and welcome people of any age, stage, ability, race, religion or cultural background. All are welcome here!
I get the privilege of walking with people through some of life’s most challenging times - through births, deaths and everything in between. I hold safe, compassionate space for clients in the midst of turbulent emotions and help them find their center so that they can rest, heal and recover from past hurts. I help people find their way back to lives that are happier, more loving and satisfying. What could be more real and human and tender? I absolutely and totally love being a therapist.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I speak to a prospective client by phone and we’ll discuss their issues and determine whether we’d be a good fit together. Then we set up an appointment and they’ll come to me office and we’ll get started.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology and Expressive Arts therapy. I completed 3 years of clinical internship and passed a rigorous series of tests to get my license. I pursued additional training in the treatment of trauma/PTSD and sexual abuse recovery as well as treatment for LGBTQA+ clients and play therapy. I am a certified Sand Tray Therapist and a member of the national association of Play Therapists.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
My standard rates are $100 for a 50 minute hour of individual therapy and $135 for 50 minutes of relationship or family therapy.
I do offer sliding scale rates based on financial need that start at $80 an hour for individual and $100 for relationship/family therapy.
How did you get started in this business?
I was a children’s book illustrator until I got cancer and that re-aligned my priorities. I realized that I wanted to live the rest of my life doing something to help others and make life better for someone. All of my friends had been telling me for years that I should become a therapist, so I investigated that field and fell madly in love with it.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Children, Adolescents, Adults of every age and racial/cultural identity, LGBTQAI+ clients, Transgender adults, adolescents and kids, Gender Non-Binary clients, clients with neurological differences including autism spectrum disorder, Tourette’s Syndrome and Parkenson’s. Clients with chronic pain or chronic medical conditions. Relationship/Marriage therapy clients including those in non-traditional relationship configurations (polyamory, kink, open relationships etc.) Families going through divorce, police/first responders and military personnel. Clients who are experiencing depression, anxiety, grief, life transitions, are recovering from addiction.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Nope. What happens in therapy is confidential!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
A good fit is very, very important so don’t be afraid to be picky. If you don’t click with someone, it’s ok to move on. Ask any questions you might have, you won’t offend a good therapist! We welcome questions. And especially if you’re looking for a therapist for your child or adolescent - don’t settle for someone who just “sees children.” Find someone who is truly passionate about and who has had special training in the treatment of kids!
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Therapy is one of those areas in life where what you’ll get out of really depends on what you’re willing to put into it. If you’re ready to start therapy, check in with how motivated you are to engage the process. Are you ready? If you aren’t, it’s ok. Just wait a bit until you’re ready.
