About

Nice to meet you!!! I'm Jade. I am currently an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor that is under supervision of a licensed Professional Counselor. I am starting to build my brand and clientele. APCC and LPCC number and registration status can be provided upon request and insurance documentation.

Building rapport is first and foremost. To me, the word "client" is bad word. I will always refer to you by name and come from a non judgement angle. Respect is key.

I enjoy the interactions I have with people on all levels. My appreciation for their life perspectives is always astonishing me. Especially when a person includes you on their journey. I look to learn more about the person and help them live with whatever difficulties they are facing

Frequently asked questions

When we first start working together, the most important thing for me is getting to know you and making sure you feel comfortable here. In our first session, I’ll walk you through how therapy works, what confidentiality means, and then we’ll just spend some time talking about what brought you in and what you’d like to get out of our work together. I don’t expect you to share everything right away we’ll go at your pace. A big part of the beginning is just building a relationship and creating a space where you feel safe to open up. As we continue, we’ll talk about what goals feel meaningful for you, and I’ll check in often to make sure therapy feels helpful and that we’re moving in the right direction. My role is to support you, but also to collaborate with you — so you’ll always have a voice in the process. And over time, when you feel like you’ve reached the place you want to be, we’ll talk together about how to wrap things up in a way that still feels supportive
I have extensive experience working in the mental health field. I am trained in various cognitive based curriculum such as: Thinking for a Change, Teenage Empowerment, Seeking Safety, Social Skills Development, Positive Parenting, Nurtured heart, and Motivational Interviewing. Currently, I’m in track to receiving my BBS number for APCC (Associate Professional Clinical Counseling).
I am very understanding to hardships. I’m more than willing to negotiate pricing.
2009 was my first exposure to mental health working in a group home setting. From there, I knew there was more work to be done.
Homeless Substance Use Teens Adults Older Adults Self harm Generous scope of mental health disorders and behaviors
Completing school. Learning how to have a healthy work, life, and school balance was challenging and sticking to those boundaries was a task but knowing the outcome was worth it, I’ll do it all over again and put more strict boundaries around work.
