About

I am not an expert. I have skills, knowledges, and experiences just as you do. Therapy is a journey and on this journey I will work collaboratively with you. Throughout our journey we might find a better understanding of your problems and recognize some preferred directions.

I enjoy when I have created a safe space to process or explore something hard. I find it incredibly powerful when I get to witness someone share a challenge, connect to a preferred way of being, and identify ways to use their voice.

    Frequently asked questions

I offer a free consultation during which we can both explore if we might be a good fit to work together. During that consultation, if we identify we might be a good fit, we can also explore pricing options and appointment times.

I got my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy with an emphasis working with Latino/as at Pepperdine University. My program offered dual licensure so I became a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist as well as Licensed Professional Clinical Counseling. During my years gaining experiences I trained and came to identify as a Narrative therapist though have also received training in DBT, CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Harm Reduction.

My regular fee is $140 and I offer a sliding scale as well.

Currently I have spaces available at $100.

Over the years I have supported people who have struggled with challenges such as anxiety, depression, life changes, and grief. I have supported people while exploring sexual or gender identities. I have worked with people who struggle in relationships, with eating disorders or body images, and with other areas of life such as their career.

I would encourage them to take advantage of free consultations and to have some questions about what they are looking for in therapy. Some considerations might include if they want a directive or collaborative approach. Otherwise I would encourage them to be honest on if they want to work with someone. Finding the right therapist can be like trying on shoes, you might have to try a couple to identify the right fit.
