Fully Licensed Clinician with over 8 years of professional experience in the mental health field in various capacity. In 2014 I graduated with a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with emphasis in Social Justice & Advocacy in Counseling from the University of Redlands. From there I gained my Clinical hours in a variety of settings including: working with HIV/AIDS individuals and those affected, foster youth, short term residential treatment centers for juveniles, and community based care with Co-Occurring Disorders, and now 5 years in Private Practice.
Dakota Westlake Licensed Professional Clinical Counseling provides individual, group and conjoint services with specific expertise with women's & LGBTQ+ Issues of: Codependency, Depression, and Complex Trauma. My practice takes a collaborative, person centered eclectic approach. I believe we as humans are all unique, even one experience to the next for the same person. Therefore, being flexible and having several tools to help my clients is a diverse approach to the unique individual and community(s) the individual is a part of.
