Therapy For Change
About
I am a Narrative Therapist who went into this line of work to help others decrease difficulties in their lives. We all struggle, and we can all benefit from meeting with a caring person to collaborate on how to make changes to create the life we want for ourselves. Change is always possible. I have been a therapist for 20 years and I love what I do.
I feel very privileged to earn your trust so you can share things with me that are often difficult to share. We will look at the problems in your life, take them apart, and construct something different that bring you more joy and fulfillment.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Clients come to see me for any and every kind of problem. When a person is feeling depressed or anxious, there is a reason. The body sets off signals that are very uncomfortable, and that’s how you know something is wrong. Together we will find a way to diminish or eradicate what is causing your sadness and pain. There are many ways to do this, but ultimately we look at how the problem was created and we undue it together by identifying influences and thinking about them differently. This is a non-blaming process because you are not the problem, the problem is the problem.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All people who have my credential and license have a Masters in clinical psychology, and many attend workshops and courses to continue to learn throughout a lifetime! I grow my knowledge by attending conferences and other educational opportunities and reading a great deal in my field.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Therapists with my degree of experience, 20 years in practice, charge fees up to $200.00 an hour.
I know that is too steep for a huge amount of people, so we will talk up front about what you can afford and I will accommodate you to the extent I can.
