Working in Mental and Behavioral Health in Scottsdale and Phoenix with over 30 years of experience, Suzi is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Therapist who has worked in Arizona the majority of her professional career. She began at Phoenix Children's Hospital, working in the areas of Developmental Pediatrics, Psychiatry, and Professional Fundraising. She developed a national curriculum, "The Siblings Exchange Program," with Dr. Raun Melmed. In addition, they worked closely with agencies such as Pilot Parents (Raising Special Kids) and SARRC, assisting children and families dealing with all types of disabilities and chronic illnesses. Suzi then had a brief stay at Yavapai Medical Regional Center in Prescott, AZ working with adults and seniors in the hospital. She worked as a school Social Worker for 27 years, shaping the lives of youth and their families. In addition, Suzi taught at Ottawa University and then expanded her skills in clinical therapy, supervision, and program development for two mental and behavioral health agencies. Working together with her clients, she strives to make changes in supporting children, youth, and adults in all areas of their lives. In the last 15 years, she has focused on expanding her skills with the geriatric population both in homes and in facilities. She feels privileged to work with these wonderful clients and looks forward to the future.
