Do you struggle with ANGER? DEPRESSION? STRESS and ANXIETY? My team at Light and Power Counseling is launching a series of weekly ZOOM classes for ANGER MANAGEMENT, DEPRESSION Coping Skills, and ANXIETY. Each course is 8-weeks long and based on a nationally certified program. Members earn a certificate of completion at the end. Cost is $40/session. We are accepting registrations now. I am passionate about helping people experience freedom from the debilitating effects of anger and live the kind of life they hoped they could. It is my personal mission to help people heal from the bondage of depression and trauma. I consider it an honor to walk with people through their journey from pain to healing.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I collaborate with my clients to identify their goal(s) for counseling and measurements of progress. In other words, we discuss how they will know that therapy is working for them. Then I welcome them to the group and begin providing insight and teaching skills right away.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 10 years of social work and professional counseling experience. I graduated with a Masters in Professional Counseling from Ottawa University. I worked at a residential treatment center (RTC) where I received a majority of my training. At the RTC, I facilitated the nationally recognized Substance Abuse Program and a Sex Trafficking Awareness and Recovery Program and counseled individual clients and their families. I am a state licensed Professional Counselor and Independent Substance Abuse Counselor. I am the Clinical Director for my private practice in North Central Phoenix.
