I have a master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northern Arizona University along with a graduate certificate in Women and Gender studies. I am a Nationally Certified Counselor and a Licensed Associate Counselor. I have been working in the mental health field for over 10 years, and have been a therapist for 5 years. I offer coaching/counseling in the areas of depression, anxiety, spirituality, meditation, grief, trauma, women's issues, and multicultural issues. I am a master's level therapist with expeirence working with those from the LGBTQ community and those from minority populations.
I love helping people, and believe it is my calling to help people heal! I enjoy supporting people through their rough times, as well as celebrating their successes. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I offer a free 15 minute consultation to explore if the client and I are a good fit to work together. If we decide to work together, I use a person-centered, culturally sensitive, trauma informed approach.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I charge $75 for an hour session. Unfortunately, I am unable to take insurance at this time, but I do work with a sliding scale to make my services as accessible as possible. My sliding scale is from $50-$85 per hour session.
How did you get started in this business?
Before completing my master's degree I worked in group homes and schools with those with intellectual disabilities and behavioral issues. After completing my master's I worked in the psych ward of a hospital, and then in a community mental health agency for several years.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with a wide range of people from ages 5-85. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. I have worked with people who are challeged by serious mental illness, as well as those seeking to navigate more typical life circumstances. I have experience working with minority populations and the LGBTQ community.
