I am beyond thankful for Erin! She is an amazing listener who gives practical advice and exercises that encourage healing from a variety of trauma and/or experiences. I would recommend Erin to anyone who needs a kind listening ear that is capable of providing sound feedback.

She allows me time to process my thoughts. I love that! I feel better than I’ve felt in years!! Amazing.

FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

With new clients I offer a free consultation because my primary goal is to help you. The first consultation is not a commitment. Think of it more as an informal conversation to get to know one another.

During the consultation we  can discuss what your main challenges are and see what we can do about them. If we are a good fit, we can discuss a plan to move forward. If your situation calls for it, I won't hesitate to connect you with someone that would be a better resource for you. I will only accept your money if I feel that I can help you.

I am in this work because I love seeing human resilience and the positive changes that people can make in their lives!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have over 23 years in the social work profession. I have worked in psychiatric hospitals, public and child welfare offices, residential counseling programs for adolescents with emotional and behavioral disturbances, residential programs for children and adults with physical and intellectual disabilities, and in Hospice.  I have a Bachelor of Science in Counseling and Human Services and a Masters in Social Work (Multi-generational Practice) from the University of Washington. I am licensed as an Independent Clinical Social Worker in the State of Washington. I have also completed trainings in my areas of focus, including managing anxiety and working through traumas.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.

*I don't accept insurance but I can provide you with a superbill if you want to submit a claim for out of network benefits through your insurance*

1 hour video session (or phone call, if you prefer)
$120

2 hour video session (or phone call)
$185

Email/Texting Subscription
$60 per week
Lets's face it, people today love to text!  You may not feel like talking on the phone or doing video chat, which is fine.  We can exchange emails or texts through my secure platform. You can email or text unlimited times during the day, and I will give you a thoughtful response and directions within 24 hours. Don't worry I use a confidential email and texting platforms.  Text or email therapy is a good option if you are testing the waters before doing a video session.  It's also nice for someone who wants a little help as problems arise and not have to wait for their weekly appointment.

Chat Session
$60 for 1 hour chat session
Chat sessions are similar to an instant messaging format with a live text feed so we can connect in a real-time text dialogue.

How did you get started in this business?

While I do offer in-person therapy, my practice is built around online therapy. Online counseling eliminates all the hassles and excuses. Sessions take place over a secure video chat service that you can do from home, the office, or virtually anywhere that you can find some privacy (even in your car!) while parked of course. I love that I can now provide counseling to people that are otherwise too busy to get the help they need.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I've worked with all ages from young adults to 65+ hospice patients.  All genders, ages, backgrounds, etc.  I get along with everyone!

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

I recently discharged a client who is realizing their dreams and living a very happy life. There is nothing better than that!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?

Ask as many questions as you want.  Finding the right fit with a therapist is very important.

What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?

What do you want to change?  How do you envision your life will look if you can make the changes you need to make?
