About this pro

In practice since 2009 on Queen Anne in Seattle close to Belletown, I work with individuals, couples, and families as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). In addition to doing traditional therapy, I also have a niche in my practice, Financial Therapy, combining over 20 years of business/tax/wealth management experience with Marriage and Family Therapy to work with clients on issues related to finances/money as they pertain to themselves and/or their relationships. Clients working through career transitions, executive/career coaching also seek out my services as do couples and families navigating the waters of separation and divorce.

I see clients on evenings, some afternoons, and Saturday morning/early afternoon in person. I'm happy to chat first by phone to get acquainted and see if working together is a good fit; otherwise, we can schedule a first, exploratory session to meet. I also offer online/video sessions to those clients who prefer to meet from the comfort of their home or office. Your success in therapy is my first priority so we can determine together if online therapy makes sense for your situation.

Please reach out with your details and we'll move forward from there.  I look forward to connecting with you!

All the best,

Carin Catalano, MPAcc, LMFT

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We will generally schedule an exploratory session to get to know each other and see if working together is a good fit. I am also happy to chat by phone first to get acquainted and hear more about your situation. If we decide to move forward with a session, I'll have clients fill out some Forms and bring those with them so that we can focus on them for the entirety of the first session. From that point, we'll talk about what's coming up for you and bringing you to services now and what you are hoping to achieve in therapy.
