About
Mona Mentors provide online therapeutic counseling through a HIPPA compliant and secure video telehealth counseling system. Clients may access the telehealth system via their desktop computer or smartphone.
MonaMentors specializes in substance abuse services and cognitive behavior therapy to address anger management, domestic violence parenting skills for parenting, special needs children, and child abuse prevention. MonaMentors also provides services for children’s protective services Harris County community supervision and corrections Parado divisions and areas outside of the Houston area.
I love helping my client improve their quality of life. I love seeing the end results of my clients that work hard to reach the level of overcoming negative emotions, using positive emotions, reaching the point of coping with life issues without engaging in negative behaviors and re-kindling relationship with family, partners, children, and people in their lives that matter the most.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a Master’s in Professional Counselor, a Master’s in Addiction Counseling and Substance Abuse Professional. I am a licensed Addiction Counseling, certified Anger Management Specialist, Master Addiction Counselor, and Substance Abuse Profession (DOT SAP), I have over 20 years of working in the human services industry which includes 7 years of counseling individuals with co-occurring disorders.
