About
As a transformational coach and psychosynthesis counselor, I work with my clients to find the reasons beneath the problem. If we don't shift the underlying issue, challenges will repeat over and over again. My non judgmental approach allows clients to say what they need to say even in the most sensitive subjects such as alcohol and substance mis-use, sexual abuse, relationship issues, and career challenges to name a few. Sustainable life style change is also an area of expertise. This includes Career change as well. Searching for the right job and preparing for interviews is essential.
I create a safe environment to really get to the heart of what is happening in their lives so that they can shift into the life they want to live. Anger management, personal and spiritual exploration are specialties of mine. Together we excavate the answers to the questions:'Who am I? Why am I here? What is my purpose? This is work everyone should do at least once in their lives. Discovering yourself, what you believe in and what drives you, opens the world to you in surprising ways.
I love everything about being a coach and psychosynthesis counselor. That moment when a client discovers something true about themselves or has a realization that changes their lives is very satisfying for me. Ah-ha moments happen frequently in coaching. Its lovely to watch.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I love everything about being a coach. That moment when a client discovers something true about themselves or has a realization that changes their lives is very satisfying for me. Ah-ha moments happen frequently in coaching. Its lovely to watch.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was trained and received my certification (CPC)as a transformational coach at Coaching That Works in NYC. I also received accreditation for my CPRWC- Certified Professional Recovery to Wellness Coach. I most recently I took a course at Queensland University in Australia called The Science Of Everyday Thinking. "Immunity to Change" at Harvard's Minds At Work. This program taught a wonderful coaching methodology. Received a certificate in 2014. Currently I am working towards my Anthroposophic Psychology Certificate.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I work on a retainer on a sliding scale invoiced monthly. I rarely do an hourly rate. I work with clients who want a long term solution or who want to make real change in their lives. There is no quick fix. Together we create a plan to achieve the change at a fair cost. Coaching is about sustainable change. Change that sticks. Otherwise you are just throwing your money away. I suggest 3 months as a minimum. Though I have standing clients who have been with me for 5 and 6 years. These clients are are C-Suite level and need the backboard I provide. The caveat to this is career coaching. If a client needs job search and interview prep, I get that done as quickly as possible so they can get hired and get back to work.
I also do corporate coaching with the largest tech companies in the world. thst work is done by contract.
How did you get started in this business?
After being an on-the-road rep of high end furniture and accessories, I was tired of working in an industry that was driven by the newest trends in fashion. It is not sustainable.... I wanted to stop selling to make my paycheck. A few random people suggested I look into coaching. Though I had never heard of it at the time, I usually pay attention to what is put before me especially when it does not make sense. There is a reason for these things... I paid attention. Then decided... It was one of the best decisions I ever made.
What types of customers have you worked with?
My clients over the years have literally ranged from CEOs and Independent Board Memebers to skilled laborers and everything in between. I work with management at all levels and people of all walks of life.
What I know to be true is this: people are people no matter what their station is in life. And I will call out what I see no matter who my client is. Clients do not hire me to have a nice chat over a cup of coffee. They hire me to work on serious issues they have in their lives. I take that responsibility very seriously. Being the backboard for expression of what needs to be said in complete confidentiality is a sacred rite for me. Seeing other perspectives and what is possible is good for everyone!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Find a coach who has a regular practice and continues to add to their coaching skills by attending coaching courses regularly. Great coaches coach... And coach often. Coaching is a craft that needs to be tended. Do a sample session! Coach and client must have a good connection.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Questions is what coaching is all about. As a coach, I dig deeper into the issue by asking meaningful questions. Coaches are trained to listen to what the client is saying to find the real challenge. Humans are very poor at recognizing their own stuff... Clients seek a coach because they have been asking themselves questions: What should I do? Where should I go? Is this the job for me? I change those questions to: What do I want? Where do I want to go? What work makes me want to jump out of bed in the morning? Finding theses answers clarifies the decision making process.
