Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
New clients will typically call or e-mail me to express interest in coming to therapy. I conduct a brief consultation to determine whether or not I am the right therapist for them and their goals for treatment. My initial intake forms are then sent to the potential client and filled out before our first appointment, so I have a little bit more background information about them and presenting concerns.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Master of Science in Community and Trauma Counseling, as well as three years' experience working in mental health at the community and private practice levels.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
My rate usually begins at $80.00/hour, but I offer a sliding scale to those who unable to pay that amount. We will always discuss and agree upon a set rate prior to our first appointment.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with children, adolescents, adults and families.
