About this pro

Use of Dream work, body symptoms, interpersonal focus used in all applications of work. With couples, the deeper mythical aspect of the relationship becomes an important line of information in the work. Conflict transformation of any sort, requires a depth-oriented approach but does not have to take a long time to get clarity or direction regarding moving forward. There is a larger vision behind understanding a person, couple's or family's directional or developmental path.

Working with people is an art, which calls all of us out to use our gifts, both from the practitioner perspective as well as from the client's side.

It is a sacred thing to move deeply with a person or couple or family, and to bring out the wisdom behind the disturbance or find the hidden power, which has yet to be accessed. This is the ultimate use of a strengths-based approach with any transformative change.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Since 21 years of age, I have been a practitioner in human development and capacity-building. Initially working in a short-term, progressive psychiatric facility with clients who were serious about addressing extreme or exacerbated trauma, abuse symptoms or other mental health issues, has allowed me to gain a broad perspective and understanding about how to deepen and support people's growth, "recovery" and development. After this I began a twenty-year training, which included two Masters Degrees in Process-Oriented Psychology, which has deepened and widened my perspective and capacity for understanding a human's connection to their natural environment.  Tapping that source for a more holistic ability to follow "process" or natural patterns of change creates organic, congruent and innovative transformations where surface level changes can happen with more ease. This change usually begins as an interpersonal conflict or inner disturbance, which is altered by connecting to its wisdom or background value. This then exposes how a natural process of change organically wants to occur. Allowing this unfolding, supports transitions, with less struggle or resistance.  I spent a decade working with families in "crisis" using this framework in application to family systems and relationship dynamics, addressing addictions, and addictive patterns, transgenerational processes and worked with the deepest essence of holistic, family dynamics.
