About

Through observation, listening, inquiry, and touch

I practice the simple, logical and time honored art of the Chinese medicine practitioner.

Whether a chronic or acute illness brings one through the door,

or simply a desire to feel one's best,

I get to meet a person who is looking for a deeper connection to health and well being.

Traditional Chinese medicine includes Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Therapy,

Tui Na Massage, Qi Gong Rehabilitative Exercises, Dietary and Life Style Recommendations

I love sending people back out into the world deeply relaxed,

renewed and excited about what they have learned about themselves.

Jeanne is a healer in every sense of the word. She is intuitive, caring, and wise - and I know that no matter what is ailing me when I walk into the treatment room, I will feel so much better walking out. Over the past year, she has treated me for back pain, migraines, anxiety, insomnia, pms symptoms, and digestive issues. She has a wealth of knowledge and I can confidently say that my overall well-being has improved drastically since becoming her patient.

I had always heard about the benefits of Chinese medicine, but was always reluctant to try it. When I had a session with Jeanne she completely changed my views entirely. I never felt so relaxed, and she really helped balance my system and my stress levels. I also used to suffer greatly from digestive issues, but I havent experienced any problems since I started getting treatment from Jeanne. I highly recommend her. She is thorough, attentive, and extremely patient and provides a calming environment throughout the process.

She is as patient and caring as she is knowledgeable. You just get this instant impression that not only does she know her stuff but deeply respects the art of acupuncture and herbalism ? As a whole. And I guess most importantly I always feel better after I go.

Frequently asked questions

Your first visit will include a detailed intake and consultation where we will discuss a treatment plan for your particular concerns. You will also receive an acupuncture treatment. Depending on what you are seeking help for, other modalities might be included: Chinese Herbal Therapy, Tui Na Massage, Qi Gong Rehabilitative Exercises, Dietary and Life Style recommendations. A large part of my practice is supporting patients with tools and resources to enable them to take charge of their own health and well being.

In 2004 I received a Masters Degree in Science & Traditional Oriental medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, NYC.  I am board certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) in both acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine.

Post-graduate studies included assisting my mentors, Frank Butler and Tom Bisio, in their respective acupuncture practices in musculoskeletal conditions and traumatic injuries. Additional studies included the full curriculum at Zheng Gu Tui Na including:  Zheng Gu Tui Na massage, mobilization techniques, orthopedic acupuncture, trauma medicine & Qi Gong for rehabilitation and injury prevention.   I have been certified by Sloan Kettering Hospital in NYC for acupuncture as a complimentary therapy for cancer patients.  Currently, I am in a course of study with  Gary B. Strauss, MS, RPP, PWE who is a Master Practitioner of Polarity Therapy and CranioSacral Unwinding.

I recently returned from a healing mission in North Dakota with GAHP (Global Alternative Healthcare Project) where we treated the indigenous peoples and supporters on the front lines of the peaceful resistance against the Dakota Pipeline.
