My 20 years' practice and training in multiple modalities allows me to offer my clients both breadth and depth in their healing or self-exploration journey. I am a Master teacher of Usui Reiki, a Senior Instructor of Universal Healing Tao (Qigong and Tao Meditation), and a certified Sacred Depths Coach. I'm also Clinically certified in Emotional Freedom Tapping (EFT) and trained in both Visioning and Shadow Work.
Note that I am a seasoned counselor using these and other modalities. I am not a licensed western therapist, and so cannot accept insurance.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I offer a free introduction phone call to understand a new client's issues first. Many people find this call alone very helpful. We then decide their path forward together, including which modalities, frequency and goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been training and practicing Qigong and Chinese Medicine energetic practices for over 20 years. I hold a MMQ degree -- Masters of Medical Qigong; a Senior Instructor certification from Universal Tao; and a 4th level/Teacher certification in Reiki. I also hold a Clinical Certification in EFT/Emotional Freedom Technique as well. I am a life-long learner and continue to deepen my skills and practice.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I charge $108 per hour. The length of a session is determined by what we do together. Generally the first session is 90 minutes and subsequent sessions are usuallly 75 minutes. This is for zoom/online sessions. If a client lives in Brooklyn and wishes in-person work, the fee is higher to cover travel or space rental if needed.
How did you get started in this business?
I started offering these practices and modalities because I feel strongly that we can heal ourselves with the right tools and practices. I work as a teacher and mentor on your path, not as someone who heals you while you are passive. You can do it! I'm here to help.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I've worked with a wide variety of clients and students. I do focus on adults, but they have come from the arts and the sciences. They've been veterans, new mothers and elders.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I worked with a new mother that was suffering from deep fatigue. She felt (and I agreed) that the birth process had left her energetically depleted and open to loosing too much qi. With medical qigong body work and prescribed breath and movement practices, she was back to her vital self within a couple of months.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Most of us have websites that outline our training and approach. Read what's there and see who feels most aligned with your views and is experienced in ways that will help you. What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
You don't need to deeply understand what's "wrong" or where you want to go. But getting clear on a starting point will be super helpful for both you and the practitioner.
