I am trained traditionally AND alternatively!! Aside from my BA in Education and M.ed in counseling I hold certifications in Integrated Energy Therapy, Reiki, Kripalu Yoga, GPS-code and Rising Star Healing to name a few. I have worked extensively with At-risk youth and the developmentally disabled as well as with folks who are highly motivated to take the next step on their empowered journey. I have also led workshops on stress management, bereavement, suicide prevention, secrets of being single, healthy sexuality, gun safety, The Fountain of Youth, yoga as a stress management tool and parent workshops.
I often recommend complimentary therapies. I have my own line of essential oils specifically formulated as a complimentary therapy to lift mood, support us in coping w/ stress and anxiety and enhance self-esteem. I will also recommend CBD if you have doctor’s ok. My Essential Oil Blends ( Loria’s Empowering & Rejuvenating Essential Oil Blends)and CBD can be used with prescribed medications (if approved by your physician)as they are non-toxic and they help tremendously with day to day coping. Nothing makes me more fulfilled than knowing that I have inspired someone to embark upon their own healing journey and if I could serve as an instrument of the Divine it is my ultimate honor and privilege. It’s what I was born to do and in alignment with my soul’s profile. We are all here on this planet together and have a responsibility to be “ our brother’s keeper.”

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Maintain an open heart. Listen with a trained ear to see/assess what is showing up physically, emotionally, intellectually and spiritually. Give clients as much time as they need to express. Listen to the presenting issue but take history as well. Clients will have a clear plan of positive coping tools to use and employ on their departure from their first session to use at home and in the community that they can work with. Restore hope. There is no challenge to great for us to transcend. We all have a divine purpose.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Currently I am not on networks. My fee is$150 per hour. The first session will typically last 90 minutes or more and that fee of $150 also covers that first session.
How did you get started in this business?
At 18 years of age I worked at a female detention center as part of my college internship and loved it!

Do not be afraid to ask questions.
Ask if they have ever treated a client with your particular issue and if so how.
Ask how they work traditionally, alternatively or both.
