ALTITUDES365-Youth & Adolescent Academic, Behavioral & Emotional Wellness Services
About
The part of my work that is the most satisfying to me is my ability to experience, first hand, the transformation of young people from wild, misbehaved youth and from young people suffering with emotional difficulties, to well-behaved, empathetic and happy individuals who learn to enjoy their lives, love and care for others, and most importantly, love themselves first.
Helping young people transform from people attempting to live the life that others want them to live, to the life that they are supposed to live, in a purely authentic way, has also, over the years, helped me to transform my own sense-of-self into a highly positive creator of change and international helper and advocate for children and adolescents.
I've been working with children and adolescents for twenty-eight years. Although I'm forty-eight years old, my clients are captivated by my ability to stay on top of fast paced modern trends in technology, the arts, and entertainment. Most will tell you that I'm in my twenties!
I currently have undergraduate degrees in Secondary-Education, and Psychology (minors in Human Services & Sociology), and a Masters of Clinical Psychology. Soon I'll complete a PhD in Metaphysical Humsnistic Science.
I've been honored to work with the children of foreign diplomats, youth actors, and thousands of young people from around the globe, as a medical & humanitarian missionary.
Ive been honored by the US House of Representatives, March For Our Lives, and several other governmental agencies and nonprofits.
Finally, I continue to teach others about the field of psychology as a part-time professor at a local community college.

Be well!
I enjoy watching youth and families transition into individuals who begin to know and understand their authentic selves. Upon this realization, future possibilities are unlimited.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
This varies between clients. I exclusively tailor my processes for each individual or family I work with. All of my services are based on the fundamental principle of Unconditional Positive Regard
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 28 years of experience as an educator, a youth and family psychologist, a parenting coach, parenting coach trainer, and am proud to be a youth advocate recognized by the US House of Representatives. My education includes degrees in psychology, secondary education and a masters of clinical psychology. Finally, I've been trained as a parenting coach, and a parenting coach trainer by one of the foremost parenting programs in the nation, 1-2-3 Magic.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Based on the client's ability to pay. Base price will be quoted on the original referral, however this can be reduced based on each client's current financial situation.
How did you get started in this business?
I became interested in working with youth and their families while I was working as a home education teacher & private tutor. As I worked with my students, they often came to me, revealing personal issues they were going through both at home, and often in their minds. As this scenario played over and over again, I decided to go to graduate school to study clinical psychology, to become licenced to practice psychology as a youth, adolescent, and family psychologist. I was officially licenced in 2015.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Throughout my time working with young people, I've dealt with nearly every clinical diagnosis. For five years, I also worked as a neurofeedback provider, offering low energy neurofeedback brain treatments to reverse the symptoms of common child and adolescent diagnoses including ADHD, anxiety, depression, and Autism Spectrum Disorder. Working with young people, by nature, has naturally led me to working with parents and family units. This has also led me to working with educators from across the US and Canada, educating them on how to properly work with students suffering from the symptoms of mental health disorders.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
The events I remain fond of are many, however they are most notably when I receive random letters, text messages, and phone calls from past clients, some now in their twenties, thanking me for the difference I've made in their lives. Oftentimes, in this work, once a young person finishes treatment the provider is lucky enough to watch the progress of a client. But nothing is better than hearing from them, sometimes years later, and receiving a thank you, or the acknowledgement of the help you've provided. This is why I love this work more than anything I do.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Seek out a provider who does not simply label your child/family with a diagnosis and treat the symptoms or the diagnosis. Exceptional treatment requires treating the entire individual. This is what has been referred to as unconditional positive regard; to care for the client in a positive way, to treat the client with respect, to accept the client no matter what, and through both words and actions, prove to the client that she or he is important beyond measure.
