I have practiced in the Healing Arts for nearly 50 years.

My years as a nurse at the Johns Hopkins Hospital Medical System as well as the University of Maryland Medical System/Psychiatric System, has allowed me to maintian a unique lens through which I can assess and be with my patients. I don't need to reinterpret or disregard the western labels that are applied to my patients from their primary care physicians. I can, with ease, move back and forth from the western symptom related issues to the Eastern holistic view. This affords my patients a unique and broad approach to their individualized treatment plan.

I find acupuncture work so rewarding. I have one treatment at a time approach to my work so that each patients gets undivided attention from me. I love the deep listening and connection with people. Helping people heal physically and coaching them on healthy eating teaches them to function at a higher level than when we started treatment. Patients leave feeling more whole and better than when they arrive.
