About

I am a certified Neuromuscular Therapist, licensed in both Massachusetts and California, and a graduate of the National Holistic Institute in Studio City, California. Having passed the National MBlex exam, I use advanced techniques to target trigger points and nerve impingements—the leading causes of myofascial pain and discomfort. My approach involves orthopedic testing to accurately diagnose your condition, followed by a customized treatment plan, with ongoing monitoring to ensure progress.

As a yoga instructor, I sometimes recommend postures for self-care, and I also incorporate unique herbal treatments in my sessions, blending massage and topical remedies to alleviate pain. Arlington Massage is proud to be selected as a provider for the VA of Boston, offering pain management through massage to veterans—a significant recognition of massage therapy's effectiveness in treating pain.

My passion for this work is deeply personal. After surviving a traumatic assault 18 years ago, I found healing through helping others, and this experience gave me perspective on the opioid epidemic. Neuromuscular Therapy is science-backed and highly effective for chronic pain relief—often the last stop for those who’ve tried everything else. Beyond pain management, I treat conditions such as stress, hypertension, PTSD, insomnia, migraine headaches, and more.

Massage isn’t just about relaxation—it’s a powerful tool for healing. Call 781-31-KNEAD today to schedule an appointment and discover how massage can transform your life.

My landlord gave me a month to raise enough money to keep renting the space while using it. Before my current location in Arlington, I did an externship at a yoga studio in Granada Hills, CA, where I started practicing massage. Instead of earning yoga classes for my time at the desk, I was given free use of their treatment room. After getting licensed, I was able to take paying clients, many of whom I drew from the studio’s classes.
I specialize in pain management and am a provider for both the VA Community Care Program and CCA (with prior authorization). Veterans receiving VA benefits may be eligible for massage therapy to support physical, mental health, or wellness needs. Please contact your prescribing provider for more information.
I was in Provincetown with my dog during low tide, and we walked out toward the point. I took her leash off, and she ran with pure joy, free and full of energy. It was such a beautiful moment, seeing her so happy, completely at one with nature. She ran as far as my eyes could see, and the sight of her freedom filled my heart with warmth. Though I don't leash her much unless we're on busy streets, seeing her so carefree in that open space was truly special.
Be sure to get their license number and check the state's website to confirm they have no violations. It's also helpful to see what advanced training or continuing education they've completed. Find out how long they've been practicing and how many clients they typically see in a day.
Even the smallest detail can be important when your therapist asks about past injuries or surgeries. Don’t assume something is too minor to mention. For example, if you were knocked unconscious playing lacrosse as a kid, that could be crucial for assessment. Even conditions like flat feet, which are often overlooked, can explain issues like chronic back pain. If it happened and you remember it, share it with us. And don’t hesitate to ask questions or communicate concerns—you should feel comfortable discussing your needs, as we’re held to the same standards as your primary care provider or any other medical professional.
