What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Choose carefully and if the relationship is going well have an assessment after five sessions to decide if you believe the sessions are helpful. Always remember, it's about your goals not the counselor's. Will this person have genuine empathy for me and will he/she show me the respect and care I need to continue my growth journey
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Do I need help? Will I accept help? And is there someone outside my family I can talk with confidentially about the course of my Counseling?
