What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Let’s chat and get to know each other better. The assessment process informs me how to plan the best course of care. Your daily activities, body patterns, injury history and physical and emotional stress all contribute to your current state. We will discuss and Identify which techniques to employ. I like to communicate as I tune in to your body’s needs. As we become more familiar, the bodywork becomes more refined and we make progress that is measurable over time.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
LMT Graduate of the East-West College of Natural Medicine. My bodywork style is a synthesis of Eastern and Western medicine.
Certified in Massage Cupping Therapy and Acupressure. Trained in Manual Lymphatic Drainage.
Years of Buddhist meditation training has taught me to connect with, purify and heal the body’s subtle energies.
Experience as an Athletic Trainer and Soccer and Basketball Coach helps me help other with recovery and rehabilitation.

How did you get started in this business?
I’ve always been fascinated by the human body and the human mind and how, together, they can achieve optimal performance. I found the intersection of these studies in complementary and alternative medicine. Within the realm of bodywork, I found my path for the pursuit of this union of body and mind as a massage therapist.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Find someone with whom you can develop a healthy connection. Your comfort level with a therapist is supremely important for your healing.
