About

Together we work to create a safe space to begin exploring what's been happening in your life that is causing difficulties. When we become wrapped up in stuck patterns it is often connection with others that we need most, yet this is what is difficult to maintain.I help people find freedom in their minds and lives again using a curated model grounded in mindfulness-based, EMDR-aided, trauma and attachment therapy. I firmly believe in each person's ability to heal from patterns and memories that cause so much pain. My work focuses on helping people find more meaning, peace, and vibrancy in their lives.

If you are a Post 9/11 Veteran or a Veteran who has experiences military-related sexual assault, you qualify for confidential, unlimited, free services. Please explore the Veterans Services page to get started!

Frequently asked questions

We start with a free phone consultation to make sure we are the right fit. Finding the right therapist is like finding the right pair of hiking shoes. The fit really matters!  Once we are able to establish that will be a good working match I go ahead and set up your first appointment. I attempt to maintain a fair amount of flexibility in my schedule and try to get clients in within one week of the phone consultation, everyone schedules permitting.

I have completed three years toward my Psy.D. in Clinical Pyschology beyond my MA in Psychology with an emphasis in CO ntemplative Psychotherapy. In addition, I have maintained ongoing training in EMDR trauma therapy. This is a primary focus in my work.

I am also a second-year student in the certification for PACT therapy for attachment and couples therapy. Finally, I took several years of advanced training to earn my LAC or Licensed Addictions Counselor certification.

I offer 50 minute sessions at a rate of $125.

I knew at 8 years old that I wanted to work in Psychotherapy when I grew up. Every class I’ve taken, job I have pursued, and training I have engaged in has led me to my present station. I have enjoyed practicing Behavioral Health in one setting or another for the past 18 years so that I could hone my craft and find my particular niche. Issue the jump into owning my own business in 2015 and couldn’t be happier with the decision! I am so grateful for the privilege to support others in their journey each day!

I primarily work with people who have experienced a range of high stress or traumatic events. Whether this is related to early childhood neglect or abuse, attachment difficulties, problems in relationships, or military service and a variety of experiences in between. I also focus on substance use, and see its expression as a coping tool for challenging emotions and experiences.

it is really important to know that someone who focuses on trauma should have additional training in this area. A strong understanding of neuroscience on the behalf of the therapist is also very helpful as it provides a map for ways to love through challenging experiences most efficiently and effectively.
