I love being able to teach clients how to stay with their emotions while being in the present moment. I believe that when we do this type of work we begin to grow in ways we did not know was possible!
I work with adult clients who struggle with depression, anxiety, eating disorders, different types of trauma such as sexual abuse, car accidents, physical abuse, veterans, etc.
I also work with teens and adolescents teaching them mindfulness which will help with slowing down reaction time.
I also use play therapy as a way to help children ages 2-10 to learn how to regulate and understand their emotions.
I have been in Lafayette working in private practice for 4 years and graduated from Naropa University in 2013. I am a licensed professional counselor with training in EMDR.

I love being able to see clients grow into their genuine self. I enjoy getting to know how people work internally and connect with them on a deeper level.

I offer a 45 minute consultation at $40. This way we can get to know each other and both ask questions to see if we are a good fit.
I have a masters degree from Naropa University and was trained in Gestalt therapy, mindfulness training, and through my internship learned how to use play therapy as a way to work with children.
I am also trained in EMDRII.

I started in 2013 in Lafayette and have loved it ever since.
I see children ages 2-10, teens, adolescents, and adult individuals.
I love that an old client of mine from my intership still remembers me, called me and said how I changed their life and has since referred others to me.
Ask as many questions as you need to make sure this is the counselor for you and meet them in person, I believe their office and demeanor can let you know a lot.
What they are looking for in a counselor, what they want out of therapy, and how much do they want to grow and change.
