Inner Fire Intuitive Counseling And Spiritual Guidance
About
My practice is holistic, including mind, body and spirit. Intuitive counseling is counseling utilizing contemporary skills, and includes the use of one’s intuitive abilities. Spiritual guidance is counseling that includes spirituality to help with healing, empowerment, and transformation. There are as many paths to the Divine as there are people, therefore, the understanding of one’s spirituality is subjective to each client.
My specializations include body image and self-esteem, love and relationships, sacred sexuality, identity formation, self-empowerment, life transitions, grief and loss, death and dying, mind-body connection, archetypes, multiculturalism and GLBT identity and issues, and spirituality and growth.
My practice also includes Goddess psychology, creative expression, dream work, Reiki healing, and indigenous healing practices. I am a certified interfaith chaplain and counselor.
I am very honored and gratified to be able to serve others as a counselor and healer. I have worked with children, adults and the elderly. In my private practice, I have been able to help others address and work on a wide range of issues to improve their lives and relationships.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will do a 20-30 minute consultation over the phone or in person to see if we are a good match to work together. I ask about their health and well-being, coping skills and support network. I am interested to hear about what brings them into counseling and if we feel like a good match.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Ph.D. in transpersonal psychology, and an M.A. and B.A. in psychology. I am a certified interfaith chaplain through Stanford Hospital, and have worked in counseling and hospice. I am a counselor, life coach, and spiritual guide.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I do have standard pricing of $100 per session. I have a sliding scale for those with economic hardship and students.
How did you get started in this business?
It has been my dream and calling to work in mental health and what I went to school to do. I have worked in Stanford Hospital and in a home health and hospice agency to serve patinets as well as in my private practice. I have been practicing for 10 years.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with adults ranging from 18 into late adulthood. This includes individuals and couples from various cultural, religious and socio-economic backgrounds. I have worked with individuals of different sexes, gender identities, and sexual oritentations. I welcome the diversity and opportunities to serve all!
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I am happy to be able to support and counsel those that are struggling with anxiety, depression, and stress in their relationships right now due to quarantine due to COVID-19. I have moved my practice to meeting over the phone, Faccetime and Zoom with much success.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
I would make sure to feel a good connection between yourself and the practitioner of your choice. You must intuitively feel that you are the right match. Working with someone with experience in the area you wish to focus is also a good call, as they have specific skills to help you. Ask for a sliding scale so you can pay what you can afford and ask for a free consultation so you have a chance to get to know each other before any money is exchanged.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
See if the therapist/counselor has expertise in the issues are you are seeking to receive counseling in. Ask about previous experiences with other clients with similar issues. Again, feel if the therapist has the right energy to match with you.
