About
My sessions are 60-120 minutes in length. I have done this for the last 30 years. Clients have experessed their preference for extended sessions over the standard clinical hour of 45-50 minutes, reporting that they felt they made more progress and were able to go reduce their stress and anxiety quicker.
I have been educated and trained in clinical psychotherapy, Christian counseling and court work in family and juvenile court. I have many specialities including couples, sex abuse and all trauma's, children-adults and many more.
My relationships with my clients is the most satisfying component of providing therapy, by far. Over the years, my clients have referred their friends and family members, children and even grandchildren to me for counseling.
I tried working with HMO's for a several years but learned that it was not possible to provide quality counseling services at their low rates of reimbursement ($50) and high case loads they require. I maintain a small case load so I can give every client the time they deserve for the best counseling service possible. I would expect no less for services provided to my children or family members.

My Father worked with Dr. Donald Cliffton, evaluating applicants for insurance sales positions, matching the sales people with the managers who were the best fit for them. What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
You need to sit down and see how you work with your potential counselor. You cannot determine if they will be of help to you by their website, credentials, etc.
