About
Your past is intruding on your present. You're behaving in ways that you don't like and it's hurting the people you care about the most. You've tried again and again to it differently but in the heat of the moment, you go back to your old behaviors. You're tired of living this way, but you don't know what to do.
I can help. I'm a trauma therapist with years of experience and post-graduate training.
Making lives better, relationships better and families better by resolving trauma. I can help you find your "best self" when you're around the people you love, instead of just out in public or when you're at work.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I generally start with a complimentary 20-30 minute phone call where I can get to know a bit more about you and make sure we're a good fit. If it seems like it will work then we'll schedule a session.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Master's Degree in counseling and I've been practicing since 2006.
I've served as a professor of counseling at three different colleges and a clinical director at several addiction treatment centers. He is a passionate trainer and teacher and closely supervises the staff.
I've also had several years of post-graduate training in attachment, depression, anxiety, trauma, and relationships. In 2015 I was on 4 episodes of A&E's Intervention.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I charge $195 per session. I can work with insurance on an out-of-network basis, meaning you pay for the session and I give you invoices that you submit to insurance.
How did you get started in this business?
I chose to become a therapist because therapy was deeply helpful to me and I wanted to offers others the same experience.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have extensive experience with PTSD, trauma, anxiety and depression. I’m also quite effective with people struggling in relationships.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Hire a specialist. When we finished graduate school therapists are generalists. Find someone with postgraduate training in the areas that you’re looking for help in.
Also, remember that therapists with more experience generally choose not to wrestle with insurance companies. An experienced clinician may cost more up front, but having your issue properly diagnosed and treated might decrease the number of sessions (and overall expense) quite a bit.
