What I really enjoy about the work I do is meeting new people. I LOVE people and I love being an instrument to help others reach their fullest potential. I am delighted after speaking to someone who felt down and out when entering the session but by the end of the session their spirit is lifted. Now that's what I enjoy most about the work I do!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Upon meeting with the client I would do an initial psycho-social assessment. After the assessment, the client and I will discuss the goals and potential outcomes that the client desires and together we develop a treatment plan.

How did you get started in this business?
I got started in this business due to my call in ministry as well as my professional journey.
I was a program coordinator for a non-profit organization where I taught leadership development to youth. During my work as the program coordinator the young ladies confided in me and looked up to me for guidance.
I later became a healthy relationships educator where I taught healthy relationships and case managed incarcerated men and women and was told by the correctional staff that the men and women connected with me on a different level than what they had ever seen in the past.
I was always counseling individuals without the counseling title. Counseling was my destiny.
