You struggle with your depression. Anxiety is holding you back. You have feelings of guilt or remorse due to your addiction. That traumatic experience continues to reply in your memory. You feel trapped and confused, how has life managed to get like this? You are feeling disconnected, not understood and like your needs aren't getting met. You wonder what happened because you used to be happy. Maybe you don't participate in activities like you once did. Perhaps, it's easier to keep your feelings and emotions bottled up than it is to talk about them. You no longer have the same goals and dreams that you once did.
Imagine a safe space in which, you feel heard, understood, listened to, connected, respected and valued. Envision having a deep understanding of your past, so you can live a peaceful present and an optimistic future. Think about wanting to get out of bed everyday to take on the day. Think of a quiet mind, where your inner thoughts `are kind and loving.
There's a reason why many clients refer their friends and family. I have evening hours until 9 pm and do intensive sessions for those in crisis wanting to give their mental wellness a jump-start. My style is non-judgmental, compassionate, strength-based, and goal-oriented. I don’t believe in a cookie cutter approach, environment or treatment methods.
