What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first session consists of building rapport and talking about what the client is looking for and what I can do to help the client. We discuss what I do as a therapist for other clients who are struggling with the same situation. I also discuss boundaries and what to expect during other sessions.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Masters Degree in Community Counseling and have been working in the mental health field for over 15 years. I have worked with clients who have struggled with suicdal ideation and who are in need of support. I have worked with cleints who have PTSD/Trauma; ADHD/ADD; Anger Issues; Anxiety and other mental health issues. I have worked in different settings as well such as a diversion program; jail settings; correctional settings and group home settings where I also worked with clients who have mental health issues.
