Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically, on your initial visit, we evaluate you and assess what your personal goals are and create a treatment plan based on that. Then we schedule you out according to that treatment plan. We assess every visit to see your progress and if progress is being made as planned, we continue on. If not, we reassess your body again to re-establish another plan of care and or refer you out to other specialists as needed. We strongly believe in a multi-disciplinary approach if the patient is agreeable to it.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are Doctorate level practitioners with specialized training and certifications in manual therapy, vestibular rehab, pelvic floor rehab, golf rehab, and orthopedics.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
We accept most insurances and our cash rate is $150 per visit.
How did you get started in this business?
I was a collegiate level volleyball player that got injured and went to PT and saw the value in PT in avoiding my back surgery. Since then, all I wanted to do was do the same for others.
After 22 years of experience, I started my own practice to make sure that my patients receive care that is exceptional and different than most other PT clinics because we specialize in manual therapy, are holistic in our approach, and are one on one by the same therapist each and every visit. You will not be passed on to tech/aides that have no degree or very little training.
What types of customers have you worked with?
All ages from 2 months to 105 years old. All orthopedic dysfunctions, preventative prehab, sports injuries, vestibular dysfunctions, pelvic floor dysfunctions, performance improvement for any sport, chronic pain, weight management, stress management, and TMJ dysfunctions.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Make sure you do your research and be a good advocate for your self. Not all PT is the same.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Ask if they actually touch you and perform a thorough musculoskeletal exam.
Ask if they do any manual therapy or is it mostly excercise based.
Ask if they treat you the entire time or if you are passed onto a tech or aide.
Ask how long your appointments are. Most visits should not take longer than 1 hour of direct one on one time.
Ask what happens next if you don't improve.
