About
I reach a diverse popularion, inclusive of all nationalities, ages and genders. My work stems from a blend of Western Humanistic Psychology and Object Relarions Therapy combined with Eastern Philosophy. This provides me with a view that sees each person as a whole being.Regardless of what past experiences you have had, they are not who you are. I work as a private practice therapist for over 20 years. I also act as an educator, coach, and consultant introducing the tools you need for growing and developing more fully into your true nature.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Usually the first seasion is used to define the therapeutic goals and assess what may be the best approach to use in the work. We determine frequency of meeting times.
We also exchange policy information and clarify any questions related to workong together.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Masters degree in Psychology and Counseling.
I have advanced EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) certification.
I have EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) Training and consultation.
I have advanced trainings in ETT (Emotional Transformative Therapy)
I have extensive study and training in Object Relations Therapy(from Karen Horney's feminist perspective.)
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
My fee schedule is on a sliding scale starting at $130.00 per hour session. We will establish the fee in our first contact.
How did you get started in this business?
I taught at a small private experientiential education elementary school for several years right out of college. I saw the needs of children and families when difficult situations arose in their lives and I wanted to be able to help.
What types of customers have you worked with?
My work includes people in life transitions of all sorts determined by what life presents, sexual identity issues in LGBTQ populations, relationship issues between coiples, family members, friends and colleagues, adoption and pre-adoption, anxiety, depression, divorce, grief and loss, traumatic events.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I heard a neighbor who moved here from out of state less than a year ago wishing he could have a celebration for his birthday. I participated in co- coordinating a neighborhood drive by birthday party for a him. He was so surprised and delighted by the party said it madehis birthday veey special because it was the best thing that happened all day. I'm happy we brought him joy.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Trust your intuition about what ia the right fit for you based on your ability to talk with and feel understood by the professional.
