About
As a Bastyr University graduate, I bring with me the enthusiasm and energy necessary to flourish as a counselor. I believe that my attention to details and strong communication skills for assisting with clients is one of my key strengths. The other key strengths that I possess that will encourage success in this position are:
I continually practice my strong public speaking and communication skills by interacting with patients at all stages of care; I recognize that communication and approachability will be essential for harmonious teamwork.
· My comprehensive naturopathic medical education and additional experience with counseling; I was one of the students’ staff counselor for the 2016-2017 school year at Bastyr University, and followed my graduation, I was offered a counseling position to serve both the students and staff at Bastyr University, which allowed me to help students maintaining balance in their lives while pursuing a degree, and provide a confidential and caring environment that promotes the identification and resolution of emotional issues for both Bastyr’s staff and students.
I have advanced training in Biofeedback (Mind-Body Medicine) with a unique interest in teaching patients about mindfulness and how to build resiliency.
By providing a safe place for my clients to share. I enjoy witnessing them working through their progress of building their own resiliency to health through mindfulness.
